Movie maker is a free program which comes with loads of effects and can handle large files including 1080p HD videos.

    Why?

  5. attilakegyes

Yes it is a kind of “stupid” question, because it doesen’t matter snowing or not, winter or summer, you can and must photograph birds, where you can find them!
But at wintertime almost whatever where you set up a bird feeder birds will find it and you can photograph them. Ofcourse it is true for song birds! The other birds you still have to find in their natural habitat.

Where is the best place to photograph birds when it’s snowing? This probably sounds like a stupid question but still

Try using either After Effects or ever Windows Movie Maker Live

    :
I got a “Video Explosion Deluxe” Video editing software from Nova development. I can insert any photo in the videoline then I can set them for any lenght I want. It got tons of transfer, and other effect to apply.
It is a best video editing software I ever see, but it is an old software, so can’t handle new HD videofiles.
I got a new HD camcorder came with a MTS video editing software, but that is a bullshet not a usable software.

Not yet, but I planted to do. I have no time or I dont have the mood to do that. but i should to, because I have lot to share from landscape trought close up, to other type of wildlife, like mammals, and bugs.

If in your comparison youcount same amount of shot as digital shoters do, of corse the digital is cheaper.
But who use film, know photography so don’t have to take thousands of shot to get a few good one. So the numbers of shot is about talent and clue, and the number of shots can be reduce significantly.
If you compare the equipment with the background technic like computers, softvers, external storages etc. the film photography is cheaper.

Since 2005 my main camera for wildlife photogrpahy is a Nikon F6 film camera and a Sigma 300-800 f/5,6 lens. Beside that, I have a Sigma 120-300 f/2,8 lens too.
Other type of nature photogrpahy I do have a Pentax Z1p film camera also with Sigma lenses, inclouding a 28-70 f/2,8 a 70-200 f/2,8 a 170-500 f/4-5,6. I used the Pentax gear for bird photography too before 2005.

What body and lenses are you using?

  20. Stormin024

    I don’t think it’s cheaper than digital…

Your photos are something to admire. Makes me want to get up and go take photos. It is nice to feel inspired again. So thank-you for sharing your photos. Great choice of music also. Have you posted anymore of your photography elsewhere? I’d like to see them. Thanks.

love your photos and how you explain how you shoot. and i realy agree with you i always thought slr was a waste of time but when your in the darkroom and your photos turn out amazing its so much more satisfying than digital!

I scan them with a film scanner. There is many film scanner available to do the job. Mine scanner is a Konica Minolta Dimage film scanner capable to scan 35mm negatives and slides, into a digital picture file up to 35Megapixel. After I scan the pictures I can handle them like any digital picture,
